Koko's Journey

Sök

Today Koko decides to help Marley, Marley dreams of a race that the riders of Jorvik can ride at his farm. However to get the permission for the paddock Marley needed the papers that ensure he has the rights to set up a paddock and a race.

Marley said that the councilman may have the papers that are needed, but at the councilman he tells Koko that the person that often handles this is up at the North Link. Mr. Bucket, the man that handles the papers will probably help, so if Koko wants help she will have to ride over there and ask him.

At the North Link Koko finds herself in yet another trade off. To get the papers Koko needs to provide proof that the GED is using illegal building methods. Which Koko does, the builders are using GED-O-Gel. A method that leaves contamination after being used. Mr. Bucket honors the agreement and allows Marley to set up his race.

Now that the papers are done, Marley needs a licenced equestrian competition inspector to approve his race. Marley knows one, his brother Carney! However, Carney does not want to speak to Marley right now, he will come over later and do his inspection. Carney did not approve the competition; the bars were not good, so Koko had to ride over to James and get new ones that Marley ordered.

James explains that the truck with the bars has driven recklessly and dropped the bars down the bridge. Koko gets the bars and continues on back to Marley's farm.

At Marleys, Carney does another inspection and this time the race is approved. Now all that is needed is a new stopwatch. The stopwatch has arrived at the silverglade post office, where Koko meets Derek. But Koko does not have the time to stop and chat so she continues on. After getting the watch Marley decides that the last thing for the farm is tack and clothes that the visitor can buy. So Koko goes to Valedale to get the tack.

And in the end Marley's race is finished and all the attractive tack and clothes are set up.

While helping Felix rescue the ducks, Judy catches Kokos' attention. Judy, what helps getting a sample from the GED oil fields to compare to the samples of the spoiled grapes. This will prove that the oil is making the grapes go bad and spoil. When getting the sample Koko needs to be careful so that the GED workers don't see her and suspect anything.

The results show that the oil is indeed the thing that makes the grape go bad. Judy decides that Koko must tell the Baroness. However, when giving the news to the Baroness, she tells Koko that she already knew that.

Baroness has a plan, but it's a bit dangerous so Koko should take someone with her. Sonja is the person that the Baroness suggests, Koko takes off to get Sonja and then rides to the field. At the field Koko writes down the serial number while Sonja is on lookout.

Racing back to the Baroness, Koko gives her the serial numbers. The Baroness puts the serial numbers in an envelope to be posted to Aaron Silvergalde, the Baroness' son who works for Jorvik council. The Baroness tells Koko that he will find out if there is something fishy going on.

Aaron has found something, the maskins serial numbers are from stolen goods. This means illegal and we need to tell Mr. Kembell to stop drilling or the Baroness will act on the information she has. Mr. Kembell thinks Koko is a pain in the ass, but he will stop for now.

When in Silverglade village Koko stumbles upon Felix. He is a little worried about the ducks that usually migrate to the funtation in the summer. They are not here and he worries where they can be. Maybe Koko can ride to Will on the Mill Hill to see if he has seen them. Will is a keen birdwatcher so he usually knows where the birds are and if they have migrated. When at Will he tells Koko to scout the fields, it's where they usually land. The fields seem empty, apart from an oily feather. Taking the oily father Felix, he thinks Mr. Kembell might have something to do with this. But to be sure Koko should take the feather to the vet so she can analyze it. After leaving the oily father to the vet, Koko looks for the ducks.

Koko knows the feather was at the field so that's a good starting point. The oil seems to come from the oil field so that is where Koko decides to head first. The ducks are found in oil pools at the oilfield, so Koko chooses to take them with her to the vet. The vet believes that the ducks need a special soap to rinse off the oil from the feathers. And the person who has that soap is Felicity in Firgrove village. Koko sets off to Firgrove and meets Felicity, Felicity gives Koko the soap to give to the vet.

Back at the vet, the analysis shows that it's indeed Mr. Kembells oil that was on the feathers of the ducks. The vet concludes that Koko should ride off to Carney and compare the sample in his special machine to be sure. At the vineyard, Carney lets Koko use the machine from J-bay, and the machine shows that the oil from the feather and the oil from the duck are the same.

Riding back to the vet to inform, Koko gives the results to the vet and the vet gives Koko the clean ducks to put in the fountain. Back to Felix, he tells Koko that he's happy that the ducks are back and clean. However, he wants to start building a case against Mr. Kembell. This case must have to start with the councilman, so Koko goes to the councilman and tells him what Felix wants. This is good because Koko and Felix already did a report so the case can start but it takes time for the case to build up and take off. So on that note Koko and Felix has to wait.

Ducks back in the fountain!
