Today Koko decides to help Marley, Marley dreams of a race that the riders of Jorvik can ride at his farm. However to get the permission for the paddock Marley needed the papers that ensure he has the rights to set up a paddock and a race.
Marley said that the councilman may have the papers that are needed, but at the councilman he tells Koko that the person that often handles this is up at the North Link. Mr. Bucket, the man that handles the papers will probably help, so if Koko wants help she will have to ride over there and ask him.
At the North Link Koko finds herself in yet another trade off. To get the papers Koko needs to provide proof that the GED is using illegal building methods. Which Koko does, the builders are using GED-O-Gel. A method that leaves contamination after being used. Mr. Bucket honors the agreement and allows Marley to set up his race.
Now that the papers are done, Marley needs a licenced equestrian competition inspector to approve his race. Marley knows one, his brother Carney! However, Carney does not want to speak to Marley right now, he will come over later and do his inspection. Carney did not approve the competition; the bars were not good, so Koko had to ride over to James and get new ones that Marley ordered.
James explains that the truck with the bars has driven recklessly and dropped the bars down the bridge. Koko gets the bars and continues on back to Marley's farm.
At Marleys, Carney does another inspection and this time the race is approved. Now all that is needed is a new stopwatch. The stopwatch has arrived at the silverglade post office, where Koko meets Derek. But Koko does not have the time to stop and chat so she continues on. After getting the watch Marley decides that the last thing for the farm is tack and clothes that the visitor can buy. So Koko goes to Valedale to get the tack.
And in the end Marley's race is finished and all the attractive tack and clothes are set up.
